The 2021 vintage posed some challenges, with rain in early February followed by unseasonably cool temperatures, delaying the start of the red harvest, slowing ripening and allowing flavor to develop, producing fruit of exceptional quality.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Cool 14 day ferment on skins in open top fermenters, hand plunged twice daily, gently pressed and matured in 40% New French Barriques for 16 months. Bottled in August 2022, 250 dozen produced.

TASTING NOTES
This soft and juicy medium-bodied Cabernet displays all the hallmarks of Margaret River elegance with its bright red and blue berry fruits and silky, smooth tannins that lead into a plush mouthfeel finish. You can expect a vibrant, ruby garnet in color, with floral aromatics of rose petals, violets and lifted bright red fruits.
