Warmer conditions compared to previous vintages saw harvest get underway beginning of January. This resulted in optimum fruit ripeness of excellent quality from well managed blocks.

WINEMAKING NOTES
he fruit was hand-picked from our premium #7 plot of rare, old chenin blanc vines and was matured on fine lees before being bottled in July. The depth and generosity from the characters of the old vines is evident in every sip of this stunning wine.

TASTING NOTES
Expect lifted aromas of yellow fruits, honeydew and poached pear on the nose and a delightful bouquet leads into a softly balanced palate of talc and pomme fruit, with an oily and aromatic long finish that is both generous and well-rounded. This wine will develop beautifully with age for up to 15 years.
