Regional Geographe Grenache 2023

Regional Geographe Grenache 2023
TASTING NOTE
A vibrant medium-bodied red with deep plum hues. The bouquet opens with lifted rose petal aromatics, followed by fresh bursts of raspberry, pomegranate, and a delicate touch of cracked black pepper. On the palate, it’s elegant and expressive, showing floral finesse and layers of rosehip, cranberry, and red berry fruits. Soft, talc-like tannins and a gentle acidity carry through to a silky, refined finish.
WINEMAKING
Only 165- dozen and 60 magnums were produced of this regional hero variety from a small vineyard in the Geographe region. This stunning wine spent six-months resting in a blend of new and seasoned oak barriques. This wine is a departure from our winemaker, Damian Hutton's usual style of grenache. It is delicately feminine style of wine that oozes a pretty floral bouquet with silky, soft tannins and a seamless red fruit finish.
VINTAGE
The Geographe region experienced perfect vintage conditions that led to a slow ripening process which further enhanced the intensity and flavour profile of the fruit.
