TASTING NOTES
This medium-bodied wine displays captivating aromas of lifted red berry, licorice, cinnamon and star anise. The palate displays plum, vibrant red fruits. Concentrated layers of plum, vibrant red fruits, black currant and cherry are perfectly balanced with fine tannins that lead into an enticingly soft and silky finish that lingers.

WINEMAKING NOTES
A 2-day cold ferment, using L2056 yeast. After a soft press, the wine was aged in 30% new French Oak for 18 months. 

VINTAGE
Great Southern region experienced near-perfect vintage conditions, with warm days and cool nights contributing to even ripening. This allowed for optimal flavour development and enhanced the intensity, balance, and character.
